  1. Alexis,
The image in your first thumbnail is really strong, bringing the bottle to life is a really interesting idea. The headline on the second design seems to be the strongest and really bring the point home, that insulin is not a luxury it is a necessity. There are strong elements in each design, if you combined those elements (the image from 1, the headline from 2, and the hashtag from 3) your design will be amazing! Really strong work overall!

  2. Your first flyer is really strong. It definitely catches attention. The checks on the corners of the flyer are a bit confusing though. In the second flyer it was super creative idea to split the flyer with a decrease trend it emphasize the idea of decreasing insulin prices. The third flyer’s images are a bit confusing. Overall all flyers have strong headlines, Convey most of the requirements and would be a success flyer.

  3. Alexis,

Your message is very clear on what you are trying to portray and so are the images. When it comes to the first image the cartoon is adorable but in indesign try not o make it too cartoony. This could cause a mix in message. Also with the presentation of the hashtags it could be placed on the label of the bottles or just the at the bottom of the flyer that way it is clear and impactful. Overall good job and keep pushing through.

My favorite out of all these designs has to be the one with my last name upside down. It doesn't give off a bulky vibe but it adds spice and gives a sense of who the future employee is without saying too much.

Prison or Public School: The Criminalization of BIPOC in Education

The school-to-prison pipeline is in regards to the increasing issue of education and public safety policies that lead children toward incarceration. The use of “zero tolerance” policies criminalize minor disciplinary actions that result in probation, arrests, and juvenile detention. The school-to-prison pipeline takes place in mostly affects african-americans, poc, disabled individuals, etc. The education system is rooted in institutional racism and affects BIPOC in ways white people/children would not understand or experience.  Back in January, a 16 year old black girl, Taylor Bracey was body slammed by a police officer at her school. The excuse from the police officer is that “she fought a student ” However, that isn’t the case and wouldn’t make it right anyways. The truth is she was having a verbal altercation with another student and the police officer came over and brutalized her because he looked at a young black girl as a threat to others. She has suffered memory loss and ...
